A full brand build for Cornerstone Residential, a new property management company entering the South Texas market — designed from the ground up to feel reliable and approachable to both renters and property owners.
As a brand-new company, Cornerstone Residential needed an identity built entirely from scratch — no existing equity to lean on, but also no baggage to undo. The name itself pointed to a clear concept: the cornerstone, the solid foundational block a building is built on. The added challenge was designing that identity around a color palette the client had already chosen, which meant finding a way to make those specific colors feel intentional and on-brand rather than working around them.
I anchored the logo concept directly in the meaning of the name — using the idea of a cornerstone as the visual foundation of the mark, reinforcing the sense of stability and trust a property management company needs to convey to both sides of the relationship: the renters who'll call these properties home, and the owners trusting the company to manage their investment. From there, I built out the full brand system, working within the client's chosen color palette to create a look that felt warm and reliable rather than corporate or cold — appropriate for a South Texas audience.
